Unless you have tens of thousands of dollars, or even hundreds of thousands, you are not even in the foreclosure buying game. Bank-foreclosed homes are auctioned at the courthouse, and usually to the institutional or private investor with lots of money – rarely does the small investor even rate in the bidding game. The game the small investor should be in is mainly the Tax Deed sales of land, and rarely, when the opportunity presents itself, of residential property.
